Seedy Sunday..... if you missed it.....

An evening about Oceans and Climate Change

An evening event, planned for early in the New Year, about Oceans and climate change has had to be postponed until late April.  Tess Hudson, a local marine biologist, has been invited to talk about her experiences by Downton Green Network.  She will discuss the effect of  human actions on the wildlife of Iceland - where she has worked for seven years - and on the Antarctic where she is heading in early February.

Lots of people came to our recent event and were able to go away with flower and veg plants / seeds / goodies from sustainable sources.  If you missed it.......

The left over spare seeds to swap will be at the 'Fridays' event at the Memorial Hall - so you can come along then and either take what you want, or add your spares to our collection.
You can buy small quantities of seeds from our regular supplier More Veg via their website.
Bees and botanicals products can also be purchased online.  Some of their products are avaiable through the Downton4Family shop, where you can support your local charity at the same time.
Alison Pritt's willow products are available online too from her website.
Lover Repair Cafe will be pleased to see you at one of their regular sessions.
